Correct January 12th Regular & Organizational Meeting Minutes – Audit Monthly Invoices
Motion to do the yearly audit of the books of all departments who collect and disperse funds. Be it noted that our Town Justice resigned as of November 30, 2022 and these records are not available at this time.
Supervisor moves by Resolution to amend the End of Year Minutes regarding YEAR-END BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS to move surplus funds of $125.00 from the General Fund titled A9050.8 Unemployment Insurance to Highway Fund titled DA9030.8 Social Security.
Supervisor moves by Resolution to amend the Organizational Minutes 23-03 #7. Deputy TC / Tax Collector to be Tom Delehanty as needed adhering to the other verbage in said appointment.
Supervisor offers the following Resolution:
WHEREAS: Our Town’s various administrators have decided to upgrade our website to current standards and security needs.
BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Board authorizes Catskill Marketing to create a website for our Town needs at the cost of $1,500.00, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: Catskill Marketing shall be the host of this website for a cost of $30.00 per month, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: This Resolution further authorizes Catskill Marketing additional expenditures of $75.00 per hour to create Microsoft Business Accounts for the Town Clerk/Collector, Assessor and Highway individual who is responsible for all administrative needs of the Highway Department, and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED THAT: This Resolution supersedes all other Resolutions that may pertain to Website creation and all ancillary needs pertinent to this Website creation.
We have NOT received our yearly Contract for $1,000.00 from the BK Fire Department. Sherry – do you have any intel on Carol Backman’s position at the fire district
HIGHWAY
Ongoing update by Kyle.
The principals have NOT gotten back to us on pertinent information regarding Eagle Lodge Rd.
REVENUES
A) Monthly TC’s report for January $510.00
FYI
A) – CWC – Various Septic Re-habs etc. as of Jan. 31st.
B) – NYS mandates for UC taxing purposes for taxpayers is 65.5% for its citizens.
C) – From AOT – AIM & CHIPs, remains the same this year. – NYS will be be utilizing “Fast
Track Approval” to deal with renewable energy projects, thus by-passing “Home Rule”!
D) – From Del Co DPW – Signed Agreement for District #2’s use of the Del Co Landfill
E) – From ToH Assessor – Gov trying to buy votes – You may have gotten your Postcard.
F) – More of the same from the Gov.
G) – NYS trying to rip-off taxpayers to pay for Green Energy Project(s)
CEO
A) Yearly Report on all permits
B) – NYS Bldgs & Codes – Acceptance of our CEO’s reports.
JUSTICE Discussion on our Justice needs. I’ve had preliminary contact with NYS on procedures.
SPEAK TIME The Board will receive comments and questions from the floor regarding pertinent Town business not to exceed three (3) minutes in duration immediately after the Board’s discussion of said topic. The Board reserves the right to request input from the gallery at any time during the course of the meeting. – Public Hearings – Individuals will be heard for a duration not to exceed five (5) minutes on issues pertinent to the Hearing.
